Multipurpose industrial dryers of flow type – “Meyer” – manufactured by BROCK are intended for grain humidity reduction to gain optimal quality by one pass. They are designed for operation under hostile environments (high humidity, drop of temperature, storm wind). Due to hot deep galvanization of metal parts it can be assembled outdoors.
Dryer multipurpose application is conditioned by suitability for any grains and diversity of operation modes
direct cooling by repeated charging of hot air (fuel saving up to 25 % of the rated value);
forced pressurized cooling: applied for grains (sorghum, sunflower) when recirculation is unwanted;
intensive drying with no cooling allowing maximum efficiency. Cooling is done directly in grain storage silos;
The following innovations are used to gain optimal characteristics:
variable thickness of grain column; inlet: 254 mm, at the base: 305 mm;
EX FLOW grain unloading system prevents grain destruction;
Quantum controller equipped with sensors of inlet and final grain humidity. This controller sets the time for grain retention in dryer operating area, thereby making drying process automized. Quantum can be linked to a computer for process controlling and registration of all functions of drying;
Moisture Equalizers system: optional, it allows to increase grain's check weight, improve its quality and thereby to get maximum benefit from commercial grain.

Performance measures given above are averaged data collected by means of field tests and average performance measures taken from Customers’ reports. These results can be gained during one cycle provided mature, unfrozen, clean grain is used (2% of light admixtures allowed) and dryer operation at recommended drying temperature modes. Performance measures depend on relative humidity and ambient temperature.
