Used both at farms for accumulation or storage of mixed feeds, feed additives, and in grain unloading systems at grain depots whereas it is necessary to accumulate, weigh and ship grain in wagons or trucks. They are noted for relatively small size and storage volume of from 9 to 242 m3.
