Industrial ventilated flat bottom silos are intended for long-term storage of grain crops which allows maintaining high quality indicators. They are cylindrical reservoirs of 4.6 m - 32 m diameter and active storage capacity of 95 - 24 121 m3. The silo cover and conical roof are made of hot galvanized steel segments reinforced by channeled riffling and ribs.
The silo includes:
ventilation system which consists of air-distributing channels installed at the silo bottom, air flues placed on the roof and high pressure fans of required power to maintain the grain moisture which is necessary for storage;
temperature logging system which consists of thermal sensors placed throughout the entire silo volume and thermal suspensions that hold the thermal sensors. Constant temperature control in the silo enables to maintain moisture level within the permissible limits;
silo discharge system which consists of the built into the silo bottom conveyor and auxiliary centrifugal sweep auger conveyor that supplies grain into the loading funnel of the main conveyor. Silos may be equipped with auxiliary lateral hatch systems for partial (primary) unloading helped by grain crops friability.
