Industrial Ventilated Flat Bottom Silos

Purpose:

Industrial ventilated conical bottom silos serve to accumulate increased moisture grain crops for continuous operation of grain dryers, to cool down grain after drying, to store conditioned grain. They are cylindrical reservoirs of 2.7 m - 10.9 m diameter and active storage capacity of up to 1,900 m3. The silo membrane and conical roof are made of hot galvanized steel segments reinforced by channeled riffling and ribs. Rigid structure of a conical bottom contributes to effective grain discharge under the action of gravity forces. The presence of vertical support columns, on which the silo is mounted, ensures easy access for service personnel to its discharge funnel and grain conveyor.

  • external and internal service ladders;
  • protective guards for ladders and roofs along the perimeter;
  • inspection hatches of different forms and purpose;
  • air flues for placement on the roof;
  • fans – air pumps;
  • auger or belt unloading conveyors;
