The Sun Star* sunflower harvester header stands out with the following features:

Specifically shaped shields ensure an efficient reduction of corn losses. Due to this, and in combination with the rotating double-knife technology, high harvesting yields are achieved. In the Sun Star* SF-SC version, the sunflower header is available with a horizontal chopper. Only short stubbles remain on the field, and a separate work process for chopping the residual plant parts is not required.

The Sun Star* can be delivered as a foldable version, or as a fixed version as well. Thanks to the modern folding technology, changeover times are minimised. Since the drive train couplers work automatically, there are no obstacles for a quick changeover from one site to another one.

The Sun Star* principle Two conveyor chains feed the plants towards the rotating double knives. The sunflower head is gently separated and fed to the threshing unit by means of vertically arranged gathering chains. If the horizontal chopper is integrated, the residual plant is milled in an optimum way, and only short stubbles remain on the field.
