Self-Propelled Irrigation Systems from Western Irrigation Systems Company

“W I S” circular irrigation systems operate from the central water feeding source. The total length of the irrigation system may reach hundreds of meters and is calculated individually in every case. Irrigation systems consist of segments with standard sizes: 43 m, 50 m, 55 m and 61 m. Each segment is supported by the frame that is equipped with the wheels. Each pair of wheels has an autonomous drive from the electromotor reducer, which allows sustaining radial linearity of the whole system movement around the central axle – water intake station. The system is built to provide a complete automation of the irrigation process. Water flow control unit may be easily reprogrammed in accordance with constantly changing weather conditions.
At present, the Company is developing interchangeable spare parts to create unified systems, which will significantly simplify the equipment maintenance and enhance the development or upgrading of the existing irrigation systems.

Advantages of the System:

  • a variety of modifications for the irrigation system;
  • energy-conserving low pressure system: pressure of up to 3 bars;
  • sprinkles placed low ensure high irrigation efficiency;
  • moderate irrigation regime is ensured due to low kinetic energy of a drop;
  • low irrigation intensity preserves the structure of the soil and prevents soil from washing-out;
  • minimum costs to ensure maximum irrigation area;
  • program control unit to control irrigation rate and timing, and irrigation system operating mode
