Everything in the drill, from its heavy-duty frame to the completely new “00” HD opener is positioned to excel in today’s conservation farming environment. If you operate a mix of conventional, conservation or direct seeding technology, this is the drill to own. The heart of this system is a “00” HD row unit. It combines precise seed placement with rugged dependability. The unit utilizes a planter seed tube and heat-treated blade separator to consistently deliver seed to the bottom of the trench. It features large 38 cm diameter and 4 mm thick disk blades with 1.27 cm offset to aid in penetration and a clean opener design to insure smooth trash flow.

Heavy duty springs coupled with hydraulic down pressure provides 182 kg of pressure on the double disc opener to insure good penetration and even emergence, something farmers have come to expect from Great Plains seeding tools.

Competitive advantages:

Enlarged 38 cm diameter disk blades ensure increased cleanness of the trench.
The seed tube ensures improved access of the seeds to the bottom of the trench and helps eliminate seed bounce.
Cast blade separators protect seed tubes and prevent blade collision during penetration into hard soil.
Heavy-duty springs ensure operation on any preceding crop stubble except for corn.

Operating life of the 4 mm thick opener disk blades is considerable longer compared to that of other producers’ 2.5-3 mm thick disk blades.
Opener disk blades are mounted with the offset of 1.27 cm considerably enhancing the cutting action and facilitating penetration into the soil.
Hardened opener shank to enhance tolerance in difficult conditions.

Press wheels of different types allow adapting to different soil conditions
