WIC sugar beet defoliator

The best results at sugar-beet harvesting are achieved at complex use of WIC harvester and WIC defoliator (haulm gatherer), which is aggregates with tractors of class МТЗ 80/82, Belarus 892.

Defoliator is equipped with operating elements which permit to cut off beet tops with minimal affecting on roots. Machine is very easy in construction and requires practically no maintenance. Additional cutting apparatus located behind the aggregate, provides high-quality beet tops residuals cutting off. Bearing units are located outside operating area and protected by shields.
Thus, the use of this machine provides very high level of beet cleaning from beet tops and dirt, and floating knife with guide block cuts only top part of beet, which considerably increases both weight and quality harvest components.
