NEW HOLLAND wheel excavators are great because they are mobile and maneuvering, robust and heavy-duty, easy in operation and maintenance. The engine output of New Holland’s mobile excavators can be utilized 100% at all times without overloading the engine. This is ensured by an intelligent electronic control and monitoring system with three hydraulic pumps. Thanks to constant matching of stored data and actual values, the engine and pumps are always working at an optimal level. This system allows simultaneous movement of all functions.
Reflecting the multiplicity of jobs to be tackled on a construction site, various booms and dippers are available. A generously dimensioned boom-adjusting cylinder delivers tremendous lifting power. What is more, the new boom boasts even greater reach and digging depth. Also, the attachment has high breakout forces. Thanks to electrohydraulic servo control, responsive and precise work movements have been optimized. A regenerative circuit permits energy-less lowering of the attachment and a higher lowering speed as well as reduced fuel consumption. New Holland’s mobile excavators are fitted with powerful 6-cylinder diesel engines with direct injection. Low idle speeds and a flat speed torque curve translate into low consumption and maximum reliability. An exhaust turbo charger and charge air cooler ensure improved combustion, yielding not only boosted performance, but also lower emissions levels.
A spacious, noise-insulated, comfortable cab is a setting for healthy, fatigue-free work; the ergonomic seat can be height-adjusted to suit the operator, while the consoles can be moved along with the seat. Boarding and alighting are easier thanks to an adjustable steering column. All operating elements are arranged clutter-free and are easy to operate. A multi-function, menu-assisted display means quick setting of desired work modes. An efficient air-conditioning system in the cabin makes for an optimal climate even in the most inclement weather.
One may control the work sequence using multifunction display. The undercarriages are marked by a modular design for flexible adjustment to the customer’s needs. The robust, torsion-free chassis uses standard parts and is robot-welded. The prop shaft offers good ground clearance and, in addition, is also available in a split version with intermediate bearing, which means even more off-road mobility and speeds of up to 30 km/h. Also, the PowerShift system flanged onto the rear axle ensures good ground clearance and excellent traction.
