Motor Type

TIER 3A CNH 667TA/EBD is 6-cylinder diesel motor, boost-pressure charge with last stage heat-exchanging unit, electronic injection, with overall delivery line. The operating capacity is 6.7 l.

Motor Operating Mode

The last generation motor CNH TIER 3A with fuel feeding electronic control has a possibility to work in different modes. Depending on the type of job, the operator may choose between the following operating modes: maximum – 169 kW/227 h.p., standard – 157 kW/ 210 h.p., economical – 142 kW/190 h.p., automatic – automatic choice of power mode condition and consumption. Perfect electric control of motor operation permits to achieve minimum fuel consumption with every job type.

Transmission

The type is four forward speed and three back speed structure. Electronic transmission system (ÅÒS) permits the operator to concentrate fully on the operating cycle. On-board computer finds the required gear automatically in accordance with the job type.

HOLD function (retention) supports the speed chosen when the machine is located on the slope.

KICK-DOWN function (quick shifting to low gear) for automatic shifting from the second to the first gear, when a huge push force is required.

DOWN-SHIFT function (smooth gear shifting) to choose the most suitable speed when the machine is located on a slope.

Downshift allows using the motor brake action, thus, reduces the use of brake.

Easy access to all main elements for maintenance. Z-type attachment design for work output increase.
