As President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko pointed out during the official opening of the XXI International Exhibition Fair Agro 2009, investors’ interest in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine is growing fast. “The agricultural sector is the key area receiving more investments both from national and foreign investors,” the President said.

Experts of AMACO are also sure that positive developments in agriculture may take place sooner than in other areas. During his interview to mass media, Vitaliy Skotsik, Director General of AMACO, said: “The more complicated the economic conditions are, the more people are focused on technologies providing them with an opportunity to save costs and earn good money at the same time. And it goes without saying that such technologies need investment.”   

It is already a good tradition that both agricultural producers and investors visit AGRO 2009 to see and evaluate the most sophisticated and modern technologies of production and processing agricultural produce. The AMACO exposition, with an area of 2,000 square meters, represented all of the most effective components of agrarian technologies, such as seeds, fertilizers, micronutrients, crop-protection agents, appliances and equipment, complexes for grain storage, drying and processing, as well as irrigation systems. During all the working days of the exhibition, AMACO experts provided agricultural producers with consultations and recommendations.
