On February 3-5, 2010, the exhibition center Kyiv Expo Plaza hosted the traditional winter agricultural fair InterAgro 2010.

AMACO’s section presented the latest solutions in agricultural machine building. The highlights of the section were new generation rotary combine harvesters from Massey Ferguson, specifically the MF9795 model, high performance grain seeders Great Plains NTA 3510/ADC2350 and 3S-4000HDF and highly-reputed precision seed planters Kuhn Planter and MF 555. Especially the visitors were interested in a self-propelled sprayer Ro-Gator introduced by AMACO, as well as other sprayers, such as the popular self-propelled machine Apache and a representative of the family of Bargam trailed sprayers. The fertilizer spreaders Kuhn Axis and MDS were also on display.

At the exhibition, the visitors’ attention was drawn to wide scope soil tillage machinery, in particular, the field cultivator Wil-Rich Excel, disk harrow Sunflower 1435-30, and soil tillage machinery from Agrisem, which is yet new to the market but increasingly gaining popularity in Ukraine and other CIS countries, specifically, its discator and deep tillage cultivator.

Also, the exhibition visitors were invited to see the demonstration of Massey Ferguson tractors, specifically MF8480 (315 hp) and MF6499 (230 hp) models time-proven and tested in the rough Ukrainian field conditions. These universal and highly effective tractors are now offered with an official warranty of 2,000 motor hours. In this connection, it is worth noting that the MF6499 tractor is now offered at UAH 800,000, an unprecedented price for a machine of this class. Combined with the extended warranty, this offer is highly attractive. Tractors of this power category (approximately 200 hp) are the most popular in the world due to their universality. And now thanks to the joint efforts of AMACO and AGCO, Ukrainian farmers have a great opportunity to acquire one of the most successful tractors on the market at a very reasonable price.

Incidentally, from 2010 the warranty of 2,000 motor hours is extended not only to Massey Ferguson tractors but also to all wheel-type and caterpillar tractors Challenger which are now available for purchase from AMACO. Despite their high price tags, the Challenger tractors, especially caterpillar models, enjoy a stable demand on the market.

It is worth mentioning the section of the Company’s Agritechnolgy Department which presented the key components of AMACO’s agricultural technologies. These included plant protection chemicals, seeds, fertilizers and micro fertilizers, as well as grain transportation, sieving, drying, storage, and processing solutions. It should be noted that the technological component of the Company’s business portfolio has transformed from an auxiliary line into full-fledged business lines which attract more and more new customers to the Company.

The section of spare parts deserves a special mention. It presented original and ОEM spare parts, rubber products, and lubricants for any imported agricultural machinery.   

In addition, the Company’s section featured New Holland universal telescopic and mini loaders popular due to their high quality and affordable prices.

February 4 was a special day for AMACO at the InterAgro fair because its section became the epicenter of an event that attracted dozens of top figures in agriculture. That was an award ceremony for the participants of the “Best Proprietor in Ukraine” project, an even held by AMACO together with the TV program “Silskyi Chas” (Rural Hour). The winner in the “Best Proprietor in Ukraine” category was Petro Ivanovych Gadz, president of Buchachagrokhlibprom LLC, Ternopil Oblast.
